in addition to that install... i see there are several Mada owners with that same set up. my question is.... how is the sound quality with the sub installed to the side of the rear versus a standard box in the trunk?

I have a stealthbox and believe me when I say it PUMPS out some serious bass! I had a regular box before and it does not even come close to this setup.

it was used about 4 months by my wife who actually never really played at its full potential. i was powered by an Elemental design amp which is not for sale.on jl audios web site, they can make amp recommendations.

sound quality is excellent. this enclosures is designed by the manufacture so they make sure its going to work with that speaker.

Bass is nondirectional. It should sound great and you probably woudln't notice much difference if the same woofer was in a box in the back.

I like the way it is setup. Sweet JL Audio. They always sound so good. I think I might need a grill cover to prevented rippage after grocery shopping.
