Arkansas Dealer figured they can make some money by charging Titan Owners a fee of $140. I personally think thats not worth it. If you buy-in on the software, you can install an/or/if you want to remove it for less then $140 with a buy-in.

Cost of software an Cable $400, if we split this 4 ways it'll be $100 a person or you can calculate more individuals for a lower amount.

FYI, if you ask the dealer's service department for a 2 degree timing advance, they will usually do it for anywhere from $40 - $160, depending on where you live. If you establish a relationship with the technician, the tech might do it for around $20 - $40.

I disagree with you on that. I purchased 2 vehicles from my dealer, and all they are intrested in is money. Money talks in Little Rock, AR. I know the first person that did the 2* timing advance at Northpiont Little Rock had it done free. That was to prove to the dealer that it did work. I'm not trying to pay the dealer for to see or change some parameter on my vehicle I'd rather put that money into the Titan community an help build a Arkansas meet/ group. Its about fellowship/ friendship or just some beer and camping out with a whole bunch of Titan & Armada owners. Seeing that Arkansas is the natural state.

If you ever decide to come through Okc while traveling, there's a Service Tech here that will do it for $50.00.

I cannot speak for Little Rock, Arkansas, but I was basing what I posted on the general prices I have read on the CA forum.

I live in the DC area and I had mine done for free at the dealership's service department after they told me they would do it for $169. My tech and I had a long conversation and he did it while he was doing other diagnosis work.

$90 at a Dealer. Minimum one hour labor. ;)
