I see that Stillen is now taking pre-orders for the VK-Pro on their web site. I have the Cipher software/cable and figure that if I use the VK-Pro, I will need to reset my timing to factory settings. Anyone out there know if this is the case?
I have a Gibson exhaust, AEM Brute Force intake and Airaid TBS. The Stillen site is estimating 30 hp with air intake and exhaust upgrades.
I may be up for selling the Cipher CD and cable. Is $150 a fair price? Perfect condition.....

You will need to remove the 2* advance and run 91 octane. It's only avaiable for 04-06 as off now. Will not work on 07.
Pre-order is $50 off, after the ystart shipping it will go back to the $695 price and NO I don't work for Stillen.:D

Cipher is a data logging tool, run off the lap top and hook up to the ODB2 port. It has the ability to change your timing and RPM idle, if you have FFV it can somewhat change your A/F but is limited.

Thanks for the response guys. I will probably keep the Cipher software. There are some really cool diagnostics aside from the timing advance.
Can't wait for the VK-PRO.

You should probably keep the Cipher. If you get the Stillen unit Cipher would be very useful. You could compare stock vs the Stillen, and having the diagostic ability would be very handy with the Stillen.

Keep the Cypher, and let us know how good the Stillen is. ;)
