So I went into a local shop today here in seattle, WA. Buckeys I think it was. The guy tried to convince me of getting a flowmaster exhaust system for my truck. He said he could do it all for $300 installed out the door and it would sound a lot more beefy and better. Have any of you guys done this and how did it turn out. I like the idea but just wanted feedback first. thanks

i know gibsom seems to be the prefered brand, but we wont know about anything else til someone does it. i say go for it. i'd make sure its the newer "hush power" series (i think thats what they call it). its supposed to reduce resonating in the cabin of the vehicle. i had flows on my '71 el camino, and they sounded nice at full wood, but when i was just cruising along at say 50mph, the echo was horrible. bit different scenario, just something to look out for.

Flowmasters typically are louder and look cruder. Power wise they can vary and I don't know of one on an Armada/QX/Titan that someone could compare to the others. Gibson seems to be the best sound and power option someone has come up with so far. ;)

I have flowmasters on my Mada. Love it. But there is a drone sound when you hit a certain rpm. May or may not bother you. My kids can be loud so it doesn't bother me. LOL

I have the 40 series Flowmaster with Volant intake. Sounds freaking soweeeeeeeeet! I paid $120 installed $300 is way too much.
