does anybody have a problem of something rattling under the mada when hitting bumps/potholes/etc???? since the day i brought home the mada everytime i hit some kind of hole in the ground it makes a rattling noise that sounds like the running boards arent screwed on that goof...i cant figure it out.

I had same problem when i got Mada,I thought it was the running board as well...turn out to be the muffler guard...I had dealer yank it off..

same here havent went in for it yet though. but after a few days it seems to have stopped..

if your clunks and the same noise as my rattles, then yes! it's the same kinda noise. my noise is like something just aint screwed on good.

I had that probelm with my QX right after my Flowmaster was installed i took it back to the muffler shop and one of the exaust hooks was hitting metal. Muffler guy banged the muffler hook so it wouldn't hit.

naw it aint that noise, it was when i brought it home from the dealer, thanks tho.

I got the same sound also clunking and you know when you open a snapple bottle it makes that pop sound and depress the cap over & over that is the sound I'm getting.

Brought to the dealer for 1 entire day they changed the sway, bushing, body bushing blah blah and still the same shi* even worst.

Hope someone have a solution cause it's very annoying driving by W/ that kinda noise and ppls look at me like WTF.

I haven't had this on the Mada, but on my other trucks in the past, I'd usually spend quite a few evenings under there banging around and pushing everything that I can see with a Rubber Mallet until I found it. Most of the time, it was usually a muffler / catalyst hook or backet that came loose.

There was once it was a shot Strut bushing (that was more of a hitting sound), once that I broke a bracket on a nerf step bar, and once a loose fuel tank bracket (that I'm pretty sure we don't have on newer cars).

you know i had the same problem with my maxima, i took it back over n over n over again, they even said it was cause i had 20's on it, then one day they finally after like 1 1/2 years they said it was the shield guard for the muffler.......it cost like 900 something to fix. then i traded it in for my mada.....sweet.

go figure they finally diagnosed the problem today and said my running board was loose so they ordered a new one, why not tighten it? they gave a stupid answer! i told them forget it. im over that dealership! going back to king nissan.
