Has anyone exchanged their rims for the chrome ones on Ebay?
Just wondering if it is worth it. Please let me know.
I NEED CHROME RIMS.....NOW! :pullout:

I *almost* did this before I bought my 20's, but it wasn't to be. On ebay there was a place in Cali where you'd purchase a chromed set for $500, and they'd put another $500 as a deposit on your credit card. You'd then ship your wheels to them and they'd credit it back.

Yup, so do you think the exchange is safe. Just worried it's a scam.
I just want to know I get my deposit back....ALL of it! So, you WOULD have done it? :hmm:

I talked to a Gary Chavez about this on e-bay. Some of the guys on club titan and titan talk have done it, and they love it. I am going to do it soon. But my new tires have been on national back order since Feb.
The exchange that I have talked to was "mspwheels" and this is the same company that the others have tried and it worked fine.
I hope this helps. :chainsaw:

Thanks for the info. I will definitely check that out, there are so many options! I'm trying to stick with the factory chromies or maybe buy some infinity QX65 rims and switch the center caps. Want to saty with 18" so I don't have to spend MORE money on tires! My husband will kill me! :pullout:
Thanks again.

Chrome is nice! Sometimes you just gotta bite the bullet. My motto is "Go ahead and do it, you will anyway"!
Take care and if you have any questions let me know. I have been customizing cars/trucks for about 10 years...
Have a nice weekend :D
