I saw this post over at Titantalk referring to scr. (read the last sentence)
Stunt...that video was not made from a Titan. It was CT Moderator SCR's Armada. It has since been proven that the Armada does not have the DBW characteristics of the Titan due to the weight of the rear end.
The Armada gets WOT off the line and shows with Cipher data. As to where the Titans TB Actuator does not get full opening until 40 mph....gotta love Torque Management.
There was one person that put a Armada ECU in a Titan and it worked. They stated that it appeared to have all sorts of power now...and this is because of the difference in Torque management.
I would not race a Armada....you'll likely get beat up pretty bad. They typically run high 14's stock.

A stock Armada won't run the high 14s, but the Armada is quicker than the Titan(both stock).
The video I made was to prove that the throttle doesn't start to close when you get past about 5200 RPM as many were claiming.

Are you sure?
Mine stock 05 ran 14.9 spining off the line, twice. I could have worked off a couple of tenths easily, but I was there to race the Z.

2wd should be faster. It isn't a traction issue. 2wd has less weight and moving parts. Tow package is also a must for the lower gear ratio. No two trucks will run the same. On average, the Armada has been faster, but this would be subject to the individual trucks. ;)
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the ECU learning has alot to do with it too. When I had my 2* Timing Advance done, I was laying rubber and outran that one Tundra. Now, I tried yesterday and cannot even get a squelch and seriously doubt that I could beat a Tundra again unless I reset my ECU.

Wow very interesting, I always thought it was the other way around due to weight. My cousin beat a 350z in his Titan, I thought that was pretty crazy. With all that torque I guess it's no surpise.

Actually I find it quite surprising. The 350Z has no lack of torque to speak of either at ~274 ft/lbs..........and that thing only weighs ~3,450 lbs. If the 350Z lost in a race, it was a short race both in distance and speed. And that guy was a crappy driver (350Z).

Don't reset your ECU. Just go out and do a few WOT runs.
