to be honest, i don't think a spacer on your throttle body will do anything. just think of your engine like a vacuum...if you put another inch of hose on it, will it suck more?
i haven't seen any dynos that support the fact that they add power. and the fact that they have a "swirl" shape to them doesn't mean your air/fuel will be better mixed.

Search this topic over on the TITAN forums... lots of opinions and real world experience with the MANY different kinds.
I have the PowerAid, and did notice a small difference when combined with my intake and exhaust.

I got the Airraid and I dont know if it makes a difference because I installed the intake and muffler @ the same time...

It does make a difference... Imagine a bucket of steamy hot water in a small room. Then the same bucket in a room that is a bit larger. Which room would be a slight bit cooler?
So now... think about power being generated. Cooler air, leads for more power no? Sure, it's a small piece of throttle body extension... but, we are talking small surface area to begin with. So an inch can possibly help.
I'm not a mechanic, but it makes sense to me. Just like a plenum spacer, generated more power for the car, right?

the plenum spacer on a g35/350z works because it makes the plenum roughly the same surface area on all cylinders. without it, the forward part of the plenum is much narrower than the aft part. using the spacer evens out the surface area bringing the same amount of air to the forward and aft cylinders.
oh, and here's a sticky on clubtitan.org... (http://www.clubtitan.org/forums/showthread.php?t=13697&highlight=spacers)

Apologies for the brief hijack Skipper. Chris03HD what are your fogs?
On Topic: I don't have Nissan V8 TBS experience but there have been only a very few that have noticed any gains on my other gasser F250 V10 and they don't have Dyno sheets to back it up. For a $100 there might be other more useful mod or the beginnings of savings for a more pricey go-fast mod. Either that or wait for the sheet. .02

Modified my stock housings for 9005 yellow 12v 65w bulbs. Awesome yellow in person.
Tried all the other "correct size" bulbs in yellow, and the most I could find was 12v 35w and they were lame.

Yeah they look great in the day shot, bet they are sweet at night as well. Any write up on the "modification"? Thought about the Nokya hyper yellow in the H11 but they might end up being light-yellow versus intense yellow. If the mod is easy then might go your direction. I'll PM or start another thread so we stop hijacking Skipper's here. Thanks
