Hey guys I am new to the site been lurking for awhile decided to jump in.
Do you notice your Mada downshift on down hill grades under normal driving conditions? I am talking about coasting and hauling nothing? Dealer says it was normal. Seems kind of weird. Great site by the way.

I haven't noticed it on the Armada, but I once rented a Dodge Intrepid that would downshift out of overdrive when the cruise control was set going downhill in an attempt to keep the speed from increasing. I thought it was kind of neat. Dis-engaging the cruise stopped it from happening.

This is a normal feature for the Armadas and Titans. FYI

Yeh my Titan does this and it sounds great when I am coming down a hill and it gears down. With my Flowmaster exhaust it is really cool.
