Hi all. New member from Chicago, Illinois. After shopping for about a year for the Sequoia we somewhat impulsively bought a new, untitled '04 Armada LE. After checking out everything it has to offer (especially for the price) there was no comparison. However, after being a proud owner for less than 48 hours, had a transmission problem. Check the "Problems" forum for my thread. Otherwise, my 4 kids love the roominess, I love the smooth, quite ride and my hubby loves the power (when I let him drive it)! Can anyone recommend good quality rubber mats that are reasonably priced for this truck? I'm lookin' forward to chattin' about the Madas.

CAN IT BE???? Another woman that loves the mada!
Hey RED, I think that you and I are the only woman around here! Welcome! This is a wonderful site. You get so many great tips and ideas. Everyone is so very helpful. I love my Armada! I feel so cool and important driving around in it. So many people stare at my SUV, I think because not only is it a sweet looking vehicle BUT there aren't too many Madas out there.....YET. I have been seeing more and more lately.
I LOVE IT (did I say that already?)!
The one crappy thing about it is the gas mileage.....HORRIBLE. Although, I think you would find that with any V8. Haven't had anything go terribly wrong yet......hope NEVER. My husband and I bought it in March. We had our first child in December and our CIVIC wasn't cuttin it!
Oh, and by the way, we are traveling to Iowa soon, have family in the Midwest. I'll let you know how the Mada hold up.

Hey, welcome from your neighbor to the north (WI). Sorry to hear about your issues, but gotta love the Armada anyway.
Take care and post often,
Syko
Welcome aboard! My wife and I had a similar situation where we were debating between the Armada and Sequoia. On paper I liked the Armada better. Then we went and drove one and just loved it. We immediately went to Toyota and drove a Sequoia. No comparison! It felt so small and drove like a car. Not to mention the price difference.
Needless to say, we bought an 04 Armada about a month ago. This has been a great site to get information about the vehicle, including problems to look out for.
My wife is the everyday driver, I wish I could convince her to visit this site!
Hope your transmission repair goes well. The way I look at it, I don't mind a few issues, as long as they get fixed and the vehicle remains problem-free after that.
