I never really thought I would be looking at Bimmers for myself but I think I'm at that point in my life:D I've admired the M3s for a long time and now it's got a 414hp V-8!

yea man, my pops drove one last week, and hes seriously considering sellin his srt8 grand cherokee. i cant wait to go drive one. i've loved bmws in general, especially the m cars, for a long time. closest i've come is a 96 328i coupe!!

They don't call it the ultimate the driving machine for nothing. they really are amazing. Used to own the 330CI before traded in for the Beast.

Hey, the needed SOMETHING to compete with the RS4, which, BTW, is going out of production this year.
BMW has waited to bring a few of their cars out for the specific reason to one up the competition. They simply waited to see what certain companies were doing, then one upped them. They found the new S4 and RS4 were using V8s, so this would be the perfect time to bring out a "better" V8. Meanwhile, the A4 an A6 are available in V6s now, so BMW brought out a 335i with a twin turbo set up to kill them too. IN a few years, Audi and Volvo will once again come out with something to one up BMW. It's a big game.
Now that I got my rant out, awsome car!!! lol

in the year 2003 i was in Dubai UAE working, then i decided to go to Germany to buy me a 1999 M3. I went with a friend of mine for 6 days and came back without buying one.... i could not afford it....lol but i drove test one and i loved it..

Both the new 335 with that twin turbo and the new M's are unbelievable cars. I will own an M5 one day, oh yes I will. :D

Why did BMW take so long to release the new M3? They had to re-shape most if the 3-Series coupe rather then just sticking the V-8 in it. It does look worth the wait though. Have you seen the Alpina B7? Now that is hell on wheels. It has 500 hp!
