I just own my 04 for a week, and have been trying to keep up with that black plastic cover, under the wipers, from fading.
I`ve been using some tire foam on a sponge to keep it looking new, but like the tires, will dry up a few days later.
Anyone have a better product ?

try some Mother's Back to Black. I'm thinking about painting mine.

I usually do it at the same time I do the rest of the plastic and rubber with the same protectant that I put on my tires, mud flaps, etc. I use McGuire's Hot Shine. No fading yet.

i second the back to black notion. had a couple different jeep wranglers, and the fender flares on those always looked like crap. after i used back to black the guys in the jeep club thought i painted em. and it kept dirt and mud from sticking to them (not really a concern in our case, probably). good luck.
