Do you hear the knocking noise when you put it in gear or when you are driving? Reason I sask is some of us do get a knock when we put the vehicle in gear when it is parked on an in/decline. I have not heard of any knock while driving though. Do not pass GO or collect $200. LOL. I'd definitely have them look at it. I have an 07 and any knocking is never good. scr38 07-11-2007, 01:06 PM Every time you start the engine and begin to move the Anti Lock Brake System goes through a self test. If you start off slowly you will hear a slight knock, almost a ding sound. You may also feel a vibration as the test is done. The test occurs at around 10 MPH. If this is what you are hearing it is normal and nothing to worry about.
