I 2nd that. IMO it's a must do, especially when you can get it done at a meet, that's the best way. You'll be glad you did.

I will be at the Houston meet on the 29th, and can do the advance.

I've been trying to get in contact with the Tech at Cox's Nissan in the Bronx,to set this up...He did it for me for free..Primo contacted me to get it done...but they keep telling me he's not in...

Getting the timing advance done right now! Hubby took the truck to the dealership to get it re-keyed so my alarm and remote start will work, and happened to mention it and they said no problemo! $50 is what they charged.

SCRATCH THAT...

We feel completely stupid...our diagnostic system just came in today, and Danny called the company and they told him it DOES allow us to do permanent changes such as the 2 degree advance! It's not you average generic code-reading system, it's the actual system that they train master technicians with.

PLUS, we can diagnose many different makes and models on vehicles 1996-2007 that are OBD-II compliant.

So anyone in the area feel free to contact us!

MAN!!!! I have called about 4 different dealers and no one will do it!!! There is a dealer in Stockton that did 2 Titans but management told them to stop because it messes up when they take their emmissions or something? They do not know what they are tlaking about... Anyone out in TRACY, 95376 or Fremont 94555 (Bay Area) can do this for me!!??? or know of anyone that can do this?

Nah, PHD007 has had a tough time finding anyone there too. I think he's going to see if he can get a Service Tech at a dealership to do it. I saw a post awhile back over on ClubTitan (http://www.clubtitan.org) where someone from Montana (I think) said the closest they found was a dealership in Vegas that said they'd do it. You may want to send a PM to PHD007 and ask him about it and then post up the info after you get it done.

That'd be a mild set of DIY mods.

I want to thank ShadyJC for doing the 2* advance on my vehicle, and resetting my ECU while here in NYC. Definately worth it, felt the improvement right after getting it done. No lag after punching the throttle from take off.

Same Engine, different ECU Program. It's somehow tuned differently for a couple more HP and requires 91 octane fuel.
