: New fog lights...

I replaced the factory fog lights with some Nokya Hyper Yellow H11 Bulbs. They look sweet and are brighter compared to stock. We get some nasty fog in Central California so these should help.

I orginally ordered the 881 bulb but they didn't fit.The manual says 881 but the 2008 Armadas use H11 for the fog bulbs.

Looks nice....but in the long run would it turn the deflector different color and does it melt the harness????

Not too sure about the deflector...I don't think it would. They don't run any hotter than the stock bulbs so they shouldn't melt the harness. My buddy has had the same bulbs in his Seqouia over a year and hasn't had any problems.

Looks good, man. It'll definitely stand out at night. Imagine how much bettre it would look with the HIDs.

bringing back from the dead (search works) - does anyone know if the 2007 uses H11 or 881's? also, did you get any "burning issues" with using that bulb?

that replacement guide says 881, but there have been a few posts where some people had to use 880's or h11's....

880 variation 880,881 etc will work for OEM light.
H11 might be for aftermarket lights.

I could be wrong.

looks good.

I did the same thing but ran thru several sets of these bulbs within a year. Decided to stop wasting money and went with the HID kit for the fogs. Major, major difference.

H11 is for the08 and up we have different fog lights. And 881 is for the 07-04

(up on soap box) Sorry to reiterate this but be careful with the HIDs in the stock Fog light housings that do not have the glass lens (mostly pre -08 model year). Found out the hard way that the 881 HIDs are too close in proximity to the lens and create hot spots. Fogs are designed to be used sparingly but nevertheless some have reported having issues with even the stock halogens. Tiny little space so not much room to dissipate heat. (steps down off soap box) LOL.

Yeah I hear ya. i had the spot before the HID's were installed. I wish I can find some glass ones for my 07 that are plug N play.

I got the 881 for my 2006 Nissan Armada but it doesn't fit since the connector was at a 90 degree angle. The stock was a straight type comparable to the 880. Both will plug in with the the stock connector. I suggest you check your stock bulb and work from there.
