Anybody else get an email from S&B or Burtmans about a recall on the tube??
The guys on the Titan forum have and are talking about it.

I have received nothing although I bought this thru Burtman's. Anybody else??

Yeah if you bought an S&B intake, the older tube had problems mainly with the way the MAF sit. S&B is sending out new redesign tube to all customers.

I got my S&B a month ago, so no clue whether I was shipped an older tube or not. I've not heard word from them or Burtman, who I bought it thru.

S&B has agreed to provide you with an new intake tube (AL1051-00) for your Nissan Titan Intake Kit (part number 75-6012). The part number for the new intake kit tube is: AL1051-00.



In order to receive this new intake tube for free, you will need to follow the procedures listed below. If you fail to follow these procedures, you will not be eligible for the free product exchange.

Step 1: Click on the following link and order part number AL1051-00. The cost for the tube is $25. You will need to purchase the tube; however, your money will be refunded (See Step 3). Please note that there is no cost for ground shipments; however, expedited freight costs will not be refunded by S&B.

Step 2: Upon receipt of your new intake kit, replace the older intake kit tube with the new one and save the old intake kit tube.

Step 3: Send just the intake tube from the older S&B intake kit to the address listed below via UPS or Fedex ground service, so that you have a tracking number. You must include the following three (3) items in order to get a complete refund for the new product you just ordered:
a. Copy of this Letter with your Case Number
b. Copy of the Order Confirmation you will receive via email when you purchased the new intake kit.
c. Intake kit tube

Once we receive the above three (3) items from you, we will issue a credit to your credit card for the cost of the tube which is $25. Please allow 1 week for us to process your credit. You are responsible for the cost of sending back the intake kit tube to S&B. S&B requires that customers send back the intake kit tube prior to issuing the credit in order to deter exploitation of this service to our customers.
