: Power drivers seat.
Sarnath 08-15-2007, 08:57 AM Hey gang, been a while since I posted here. Still got the Blizz Armada.
Does anyone else get into the drivers seat to find it's moved? I mean the back support of mine is not Layed way donw but i like it back a bit. When I leave it for the night it's right where it should be, but when I go out in the morning it moved more forward.
I've been noticing this since we got it. I was wondering if someone else found a flaw in the adjuster switch or managed to trap the gremlin thats doing this.
Anywho, no mods to the mada yet.
hope everyone is doing well.
Do you happen to have a different setting programmed into your keyfob for the memory seat?? Ex: If I grab my wife's keys and press the unlock button, the seat adjusts to her settings. If I use mine, it adjusts to my settings.
macel15 08-15-2007, 02:01 PM I beleive the seats moves back when you take the keys out so that it leaves you more room to get out, of course I can be wrong.
Sarnath 08-16-2007, 09:44 AM I didn't think we had the memory seats in this model.
Do all the Armadas come with the memory function?
Didn't know which model you have. If you have memory seats, there will be 3-buttons (Set, 1, 2) towards the mid-lower front kinda above the speaker on the Driver's Door.
NYPNOY 08-16-2007, 10:41 AM Macel15 is right, the Armada has a feature like that of more expensive brands that moves the driver seat back upon taking the keys off the ignition to give more room for exiting and entering the truck .........

Wow, I didn't even know you can do that with the keys...gonna have to take a look into that one. Good info Pops.:D

You're right, and when you place the key back in the ignition, it goes back to your personal memory settings.

Yea, it's in the manual. You just press the Set button, then press 1 or 2, then press and hold the Unlock button on the remote for a few secs and that's it. Just 1 extra step added to the regular programming, not too bad. :D
Sarnath 08-17-2007, 06:10 AM I only have the lowly SE model. :/
Though it's still an incredible vehicle, it's not the mac LE! :)
No, pops I didn't see any buttons for the seat.
I hope I'm not imaging this happening. :)
Well, like everyone else is saying, it does move back for easy exit/entry when the car is turned off. Maybe the Driver Set position is not being remembered correctly when the car is turned on. Sounds like the Dealer might need to take a look at it. Personally, I'd call around to see who sounds likely to dig into it before deciding which one to take it to. There's nothing more frustrating than getting it back saying they couldn't find anything wrong.

This feature has got to be the single most annoying thing in the world. I don't have the navigation so I had to go to the dealer to have them turn it off.
I swear, I was ready to set the truck on fire because of this. I don't take as long to get out of the truck as the seat takes to go back so I would constantly be trying to get out as the seat was moving and almost fell on many occasions.
My g/f's G35x has a feature where it moves the steering wheel up and out of the way. Still takes to long but it is much better than the seat moving.
Sarnath 08-18-2007, 06:56 AM AHAH Pops seems you almost know the run around i got when i got the Armada.
I had an Xterra that one day just started giving me trouble. So I took it to Nissan. They said they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it and after 8 hours of paying them to scratch their arses I decide I had it with that thing and bought the Armada.
Anywho i'll either just deal with it or take it to another service center :)
Thanks!
