ERNGE 08-18-2007, 11:00 PM Hey, anyone installed the Kenwood DNX-7100 in their Armada? I'm thinking i'm going to get it today, i was just looking for some feedback and maybe a few pics! My neighborhood isnt on the map because it is bieng built, and im in the boondocks but 99% of the time its on there. I added on the bluetooth (90) and ipod adapter (45). It lets you watch movies (if connected the wrong way) while driving and gives you turn by turn directions while the nav screen is off..and you can enter data while driving, which can't be done with the factory nav..a real PITA if you ask me, i know first hand on my ol lady's G35... BTW the metra kit is what you will need, you said you had a 2004?? so make sure you get the correct one, because the 06 and above (i believe) have a lcd screen for the climate controls... I had someone put the unit in my car, i used Quality Car Stereo in Pensacola, FL (they are the only ones to do anything in my car) they do a killer job..I put the ipod thing in though, takes like 2 seconds..I had them run the wires for the iPod into the glove box so I just plug it in there and its out of sight, real clean.. Just curious. mustangmwe 10-10-2007, 06:09 PM I got everything done in my car there, not just the kenwood...but they have great prices and they stand behind there work..they are off of 9th ave. by tippin..ask for lee, he knows me, tell him morgan with the armada sent you...call before you go though, they usually are very busy and only have one installer Mike, who really knows his stuff...if you have the balls you should sit in his truck, it will blow your eardrums out of place, and give you a mini stroke..:) | ||
