long story short, i bought this little guy when i was 14, restored it, then drove it to high school, which un-restored it. it then sat in the garage for about 7 years rotting away. i've decided to fix & sell it to pay off some stuff (motorcycle racing is VERY expensive), and just brought her home from the paint shop. enjoy!

That paint job looks pretty darn good! Who did it, and how much did it cost? Basecoat/clearcoat, or enamel?

That's hot! Once you put it all back together, it should bring in some decent Dinero!

Wow!! that looks nice. Nice straight body, no ripples, good paint job by the look of it. Hm, I'm not so sure that you will want to part with her after all, when she is done.
Good luck; keep us posted. Brings back nice memories.:D

to answer the questions, i did all the body work and primed it, then had a shop here in town spray it base/clear. painting ran $1200, and he did all the masking and what not. he also color-sanded and buffed it before i picked itup. thanks for the compliments.

That's awesome! Good luck restoring and have fun. BTW--it's an MG, right (forgive me if I'm wrong--classics aren't exactly my area of expertise)?
