Today the buyback was complete as we turned it over to a local dealer for inspection and to sign off on it.

We are relieved and sad at the same time. We really wish it would have been different and there were no issues at all.

We turned the vehicle in with alittle over 7000miles and having been in service over 65days in 4months.

It was a hard time dealing with rentals, cancelling vacations and missing out on weekend activities.

We recently bought a 07 Mazda CX-7 a few days ago.
The whole thing with the Armada change a good part of our lifestyle.

I wanted to say thanks to those that offered advice with the process.
And that this is a great forum to have been part of. Just sucked that we got a bad egg. I'm definately not one to hold a grudge and dislike Nissan for the issues we had as we understand that these things happen. Our local dealership service department was great through the whole thing and Nissan USA worked with us and made it easy.

I can definately see us in an Armada again.

Wow, sorry, but since you got them to buy it back in short time (some have waited many months) it seems like they did you right. Good luck with your CX-7. Don't be a stranger.

Thanks for the replies.

I did end up going through a lawyer with the process so I think that helped alot with how fast things were done.

But I do give alot of credit to the dealership and Nissan USA.

I will get some pics up soon.

Looks good, like the look of the Mazda SUV's both the CX-7 and CX-9. Too bad the Armada had to go.

I went through the same process in 2005...after going through a 2006 Honda Ridgeline (great truck/suv) I ended up with another Armada...I just love the power in this truck...and the 2008's have more style and they are quieter.
I will drive this one for a while...unless it starts breaking down on me.
Good luck with the Mazda/Ford platform!
