I ran our armada last night at the track and it did pretty well considering elevation and almost a full tank of gas. The track is about 2900 feet above sea level. Also i rolled across the scales and the Armada weights 5750. I only got in 3 runs before the rest of the "hond kids" showed up.
I think with less gas i can get into the 15's. Then maybe try that timing advance you all are talking about, and maybe the torque management delete. Anyway here is my time:
Sorry about the --- i couldnt get them where they where esay to read..
------------run 1--------run 2------------ run 3
--TIME--- 6:50---------7:05 -------------8:15
60 foot----2.50---------2.36--------------2.29
330 -------6.85---------6.72--------------6.61
1/8 -------10.55--------10.37-------------10.25
mph-----66.5---------66.98--------------67.4
1000------13.73--------13.54--------------13.32
1/4 mile---16.43--------16.22--------------16.100
mph---83.1------ --84.2--------------- 85.2
Got me thinking though about those blowers, headers, exhaust and intake. The "FAST" diesel trucks down there where all the 14's. the quickes was a ram with a turbo swap, stacked boxes, fuel system and ceramic clutch.. He said he was making 550whp and 1800lbtq.. Which he probably was. It would chirp the tires in the 3ed and 4th in 4WD! Anyway if i could shave 2 second off with those parts that should put me in the 14.1 rang going by times last night which would be a LOT of fun spanking fast cars instead of hondas..
