: Pictures of my headlights w/out orange reflectors.
4pumpedCL 10-06-2007, 04:55 PM Turned out nice. I have a bunch of other stuff going on with my Armada so I won't actually have them installed for a while, but here's a picture of them completed sitting on my kitchen island. I made the mistake of putting them in the over without using a wet towel to protect the clear plastic so I got a bunch of tiny hairline cracks...Now that know when I'm doing the passenger side should turn out perfect and I'll just pick up a new driver's side as soon as ebay has one available.

Keith
4pumpedCL 10-08-2007, 10:15 AM 270 for 10 mins. MAKE SURE YOU PUT A WET TOWEL OVER THE PLASTIC LENS or you'll end up geting small hairline cracks in it like I did on my first one.
Thanks for all the compliments.
ezemaxima 10-16-2007, 04:45 PM You got any installed pics. Also if you can take night time pics with and without the different lights on.

Sorry for the poor quality photos...my camera didn't like me taking the picture in the garage for some reason.

hullio 10-20-2007, 11:07 AM Wow now that's nice!!
ERNGE 10-20-2007, 12:40 PM Explain how you did that again......that is bad a$$!
Chris03HD 10-20-2007, 01:00 PM Now you should smoke them. Smoked a set already with the stock reflectors still in, and I didnt like it. Those would be sweet smoked!
armadman 10-23-2007, 03:27 AM how did you clear the orange?
keithurban 10-23-2007, 01:53 PM Im truly impressed. Nice work man.
ROCK!
Keith
ezemaxima 10-23-2007, 02:07 PM how did you clear the orange?
I think he painted them silver...
4pumpedCL 10-23-2007, 04:18 PM Mr EZ is correct. I heated up the headlights, took them all apart, painted the orange reflector "chrome", then reassembled.
ERNGE 10-26-2007, 12:00 PM Someone needs to market those!
gilbert88 10-28-2007, 01:31 AM Looks excellent! Once u have perfected the art.. u can be the AZ headlight man!
Im sure there will be lots of owners who want this done (me included)
Mizike 11-05-2007, 03:14 PM That looks really clean, I'm to much of a sissy to take apart my headlights though. I wouldnt even do that to my lexus in fear of condensation.
ERNGE 11-05-2007, 07:01 PM Someone needs to do this and video tape it and post it so we can view it! It seems simple enough, but video would still be pretty good.
Flacko 11-14-2007, 01:39 PM Hey i would like to do that with my headlights i was told to use a hot blower.. what way did you do yours? i freaked out about messing the light up there on not easy to find yet..
BlakSpyda 11-14-2007, 01:45 PM Welcome to CA Flacko!
Welcome to the Club Flacko!
I'm pretty sure that you have to use the oven to get enough even Heat Distribution.
