I was talking with one of our Titan owners from CT yesterday at our Tulsa meet and asked him if he'd be intrested in trading his '07 Galaxy Black Titan XE Front Bumper for a chrome one like ours and he said "definitely, if anyone is looking". I was thinking of ezemaxima at the time but forgot he is in Hawaii. So, I told him I'd ask on here in case anyone is looking to "Black Out" their Front-end anyway.

I've actually been thinking about doing this for some time. I have a smoke SE with black rims ,that could be a unique look. Is there any way we could photoshop one of my pics to see how it would look? I'm in MD but have a UPS acct and access to freight services so I can ship no prob.

Thanks for thinking of me Pops but i've decided to have my chrome front bumper sandblasted then colormatched along with the roof rack, chin spoiler, side steps, unpainted portion of the side mirrors, and possible some interior parts/ panels. The only one i'm thinking of swapping out is the grill and the rear bumper to the qx56 or 08 Armada version.
Some of my friends pointed out a safety advantage to having the chrome metal bumper. It will handle alot more force before being crushed unlike the all urethane XE front bumper.

I'll ask him to post up a Front Pic and let him know you might be intrested. Here's his profile:

Ezemaxima's reply is intresting though. He's right that the Poly bumper is not as strong and I find it intresting that we all have Chome Lowers and the Titans all have Chrome Uppers. I figure it's a styling thing but we may need to find out if there's any safety issues involved considering his King Cab is lighter than our trucks.
BTW: He's also looking into building a Game Console for our Rear Seats that will hold an XBox, PS2, or whatever.
