Who here knows where to order stainless steel brake lines for the Armada? I saw on Titantalk a site from cardomain that sells them for the Titans, but the site is sold out. Where can we order these from? I have them on both my drift cars and they work great.

i cant stand the brakes on the armada, i feel like they are too under powered to stop such a heavy truck. I drove the truck to VA this weekend and i noticed i had to start applying the brake much sooner than any of my other cars to slow down. When i came back i took the pathfinder to the gym at night after driving the armada for 500 miles round trip in traffic, when i applied the brakes every thing in my passanger seat flew to the ground. In my opinion i think my 98 pathfinder has better brakes than this truck. This trucks needs all the help it can get with the braking system.

That may just be the difference between a 1/4 ton frame and a 1/2 ton frame. I drive the Armada for work everyday and drive the Wifey's Murano at night. Both brakes feel close enough to be no big deal but the Armada does require more stopping distance because of its GVW. Have you had your brakes looked at??

If you want to hear about awkward, I used to be a local truck driver and anytime that I'd get out of a Freightliner Cabover (like the one below) into my 300zx TT, I felt like I was laying down on the road flying on a sled.

Thanks Pops for the sites. i will be looking into those. As far as stopping power is concerned, the Armada is heavier than other vehicles and will require more distance to stop. I believe that they make brake upgrades for these through stillen.

Want better braking... get better tires. It makes a huge difference. Yes, braking is important, but unless you do a lot of track type driving, brakelines really won't make a difference. It only changes the feel...

Trust me... get better tires that have improved TAC to the asphalt...

SS lines make a huuuuge difference in stopping power.. makes it the pressure more linear since there is no expansion.
i've had it on all my cars.
