: 8 Hour Wax Job!!
PHD007 10-20-2007, 12:18 PM Lol What Up guys,
Ok so on Thursday I decided to treat my baby to something nice so I decided to give her a day at the spa. I think I started around 11am and Just finished alittle around 6pm with the detailing. So I went out and purchased some nice supplies for her. I bought this 3 stage wax system, It sounded like BS but I decided anything was worth the money for my honey haha. The wax included a Stage 1 Polish, Stage 2 Seal, and Stage 3 Ultra wax (Carneuba, and Synthetic Wax), I then did the same waxing to my rims (Which was a real b****h!!!) and finished it off with Chrome Polish for all the Little pieces and Rim lips, And Tire/Vinyl dressing on all her accessories. HAHA 8 Hours later, this is how she turned out.

Great! And you like the sound of it? I mean, I love the sound of my mada already, I'd just love to give a little more of a throaty, deep tone.
2tall 10-20-2007, 03:31 PM Nice and shiny, and Like the garage floor also. The one thing, your wheel wells are grey. And I am sure others will rib you on missing that area as well. :-) I guess I am just crazy when I do my truck up and do all that extra stuff.
PHD007 10-20-2007, 03:32 PM Its not obsessivly loud, but really nice tone. I personally am really happy with it. And the Injen intake I have provides all the Throaty acceleration

Great! I was actually just reading up on the Injen intake. Someone else also suggested it to me :) I'll definitely keep both of those in mind! Thanks so much.

va_aggie99 10-23-2007, 03:57 PM Another quick detail note... if you want the tire wells to look new, spray some wd-40 in there and it will shine......
va_aggie99 10-23-2007, 03:59 PM Whats the rim tire combo you are running on your mada? also what's the ride like?
PHD007 10-27-2007, 05:26 PM Wheel Make: KMC
Wheel Model: Dimes
Wheel Size: 24"
Tire Make: Yokohama
Tire Model: Parada Spec R
Tire Size: 305/35/24
Ride Quality: Sacreficed little bit of smoothness just because there isnt as much air between the rim and the ground. Handling is GREAT!! @_@ Every person who has drove my car was amazed on how smooth the ride was. I swear this car was made to ride on 24's with no problems.
lightspeed801 10-27-2007, 05:53 PM Looks great!
repower 10-27-2007, 08:46 PM Great looking ride! What width and offset? Looks perfect.

You too, repower! :D
Welcome to the Club guys!!!! Glad to have you join.
Just to comment, I had the privelege to drive PHD007's Armada last week and I totally agree that she is a real babe to drive. Extremely nice ride, much better than my stock wheels/tires, Intake/Exhaust sounds VERY sweet, and Acceleration/Handling felt very responsive.
We ran a few quick side-side runs down empty 40mph side streets to 50mph max. I single stepped, double footed, and power launched with pretty much the same results. We stayed pretty much even until he pulled away at 35-40+ mph with a fender length gain at the end. Considering he's on 24's, I thought that to be pretty good gain and I'm thinking that when he gets the 2* Timing Advance, his low-end will be increased enough to sooner pull away from a stock Armada.
VERY Impressive!!!! Also, just by simply adding a Sub Box to the non-Bose Audio, his stereo Kicks A**!!!!
PPLAPW 10-31-2007, 08:03 PM Nice detail.
Black looks the best when clean!
