Personally, I'd be leary of the "No Warranty" factor and try to keep the price low. I just finished replacing my unit under warranty after less than 1-year of use. If someone does buy this, please post up so I can tell you how to bevel some corners to prevent the disaster that I just went through.

what are the details?

I didn't want to hijack like I always tend to do. The edge of the plastic around the long hole that the cord goes through had a sharp edge on it. As the screen was flipped open and closed, it cut through the wire insulation and a power wire. I sent it back and they sent me out a brand new unit. On the top sides of the hole, I noticed they had rounded part of the edge corners with a router to prevent it from happening again. In my opinion, they didn't round enough of the edge so I used a Dremel and sandpaper to round the rest of it and remove any sharp edges the wire can come into contact with.


Here's a vague pic that kinda shows the wire going through the hole, I can disassemble and take more if needed.
