I want to take apart the front console to install a after market subwoofer with after market amp on my OEM BOSE w/ Navigation ? How do it do this and are there adapters that hook up to the stock wiring harness to make R/C cables ? and if there are pictures on this that would be great.Oh yeah I would like to keep the stock BOSE component speakers and woofer if possible. I tried so search it but no luck.

Taking apart the Shifter Console Lid and the HUD is surprisingly easy.

Set your parking brake.

Unscrew your shifter knob.

Shift down into Neutral.

Pull Up and Back on the lid. The clip fasteners attach at a 45 degree angle.

I cannot remember but there might be 2 screws exposed on the bottom of the HUD that need to be removed.

Pull straight out on the HUD. It's just held with clip fasteners.

NOTE: When reassembling, there's a small piece on the front side of the center Storage BIN on the center console that can be removed then snapped back in later to make reattaching the shifter console lid much easier.
