Does any one have a problem with minor rattling & squeaking from the steering column while turning even on surface road...? I have just had my 08' Armada for 3 weeks only!!:thumbdown

Now that really sucks. :( There were problems with some 04s and early 05s, but those were worked out almost completely in the 07 model. I haven't read anything about squeeks in the 08. Hopefully you can pinpoint them and take it to the dealer.

From your description, it sounds like maybe some of the plastic around the steering column might need the screws tightened. The dealer should be able to fix it easily.

Ohhhh noooo was just talking to the wife on getting the 08 because of all these rattling noise from the one we have now I guess I'm gonna hold on till further notice on these 08's.

I am getting the car checked with the dealer, hopefully they'll get it fixed today. I'll post the dealer's findings later. :(

Problem fixed :goodjob: found out the probelm from the front suspension joints & steering rack bushes.

That's good to know!!!! We've had a few that had the bushings replaced but this is the first that I've heard of the sound coming from the steering column inside the cabin. Good Info!!!! :thumbup:
