 Howzit. I posted a couple days ago about my wifey's 2007 Nissan Armada (4k miles (bought 9 months ago) - yes its a driveway queen ) leaking water inside. I went to see the dealership yesterday and they told me that the problem was that the armada has a cracked evap case. Shoots, quite interesting but hey, I guess it is what it is. Anybody experienced the same problem here before?

Several members have had leak problems due to the drain hose being too short, or installed incorrectly, but this is the first cracked case I have heard about.
Maybe the hose is really your problem, not the case. There is a TSB on the hose.

I brought a photocopy of the tsb that I got from the forum. But the SA came back and told me that indeed my case has a cracked. They will call me once the part comes in for the install. The SA told me that the whole thing cost $700 just the part alone.

If it's replaced under warranty, I'm usually all for getting new parts installed. If paying out of pocket, I would have to see the crack before agreeing to it. You might want to just have them double check that drain hose while they're replacing the Evap Case.

I've had to replace a couple before for this. Don't know what caused them, well not all of them(customer tried to chisel it out of the way to put something under there, didn't know what it was, haha), but it was fun to change.

Howzit. After a really frustrating 5 days (3 waiting for parts 2 for repairs), my Mada was finally done. Here's what the local dealership did:
1. Replaced the NVAC Case
2. Heating Unit (?) (i dont know what this is....)
3. Long Life (?) (i dont know what this is but have a feeling its the coolant)

The SA told me that this repaired would cost so much $$$ because it took them awhile to repair it. Thank God for warranty. (I am praying that this will never happen again :) )

It's repaired and I will most def make sure the work is ok, like I said, this is the most horrible service experience I have ever had - hands down.
