Has anyoneexperienced this issue.
I am unable to start vehicle after replacing battery.
I have no headlights, cannot operate power windows or any other
electrical equipment besides power doorlocks and inside dome lights.
Does anyine have the fix????
Welcome to the Club!!!! What battery di you replace with??? These require a Heavy Duty battery that is not easy to find. I have a slightly underrated battery but it's the largest I could find at 2am in the morning.

I just went and brought one from Advance Auto. This the 2nd one that I have had to buy. The first one worked fine. I have check all the fuses and they check fine. It will just not turn over or power any of the electronic equipment
Sounds like the battery is underpowered to me but I could be wrong. Just my $.02. That sounds exactly the way my OEM battery acted when I spent the night running it dead. It would test good on a tester but could not hold up to the demand that the Armada requires.
Have you recently added anything electrical???
I'll look at my battery when I leave work in a minute and post tonight.

Nope nothing added.
What type and size OEM battery areyou guys using?
I am using a Titan 875 Crank / 700 Cold Crank but it's not firing
I have inside dome lights and that's it. Nothing else works. No
headlights, radio, or nothing. Is this my problem or is something
bigger????
I have the Everstart MAXX-24FN from Wal-Mart. I can't read the Cold Crank Amps but I think it's probably the same as the one you got. It's rated for the Titan XE Reg Cab Non-Tow. There's a big difference because the Titan XE comes barebone with nothing electric. Manual crank windows, manual door locks, manual seats, no stereo amp, etc.....
Mine has been fine but it's still warm here in the 30's and 40's and I'm always parked inside a garage so I don't know if it will hold up in the cold yet. If it fails, it will just become my spare to shelf for the next "emergency" that I'll quick charge to swap in until I can make it to a store.
Anyway, yours could also be either an electrical drain from something like something plugged into an always hot Cig Lighter like the front Driver's side or it could be that your Alternator is not charging properly.
These beasts are tough to get jumped when the battery is dead. If you decide to try a jump start just make sure to connect the NEG jumper cable to the body frame or steel support bracket instead of directly to the battery terminal. This protects your Alternator and Electrical System from getting fried from the pulses sent by the alternator on the other vehicle. That brings the next question, "Have you jumpstarted it lately??".
If you're sure that it's none of the above, you might consider having the Alternator checked. If you do get the truck started, a healthy alternator should push the needle to show ABOVE 12 amps on your Amp Meter (I think it's located on the bottom of the Tach).
Hope this helps a little.

That is a volt meter, Pops, not an ammeter. It should read above 14 volts with the engine running. Our alternator's maximum current output is 130 amps.
Eric, it sounds like you have a bad IPDM E/R or BCM. The power for all the devices that aren't working for you goes through and is controlled by these two devices.

Welcome to CA!
I replaced my OEM with the heavy duty OEM battery that is sold with the tow package.

its happened to me before with my A4, but an oversight none the less. check the battery cable terminals; make sure they're not corroded, and they bolt onto the battery post firmly. also check the wires that run to the positive and negative terminals and that nothing is loose or missing.
i just read you bought a 2nd battery? are these problems taking place immediately after installing a new battery? or being able to drive and put some useage on the battery and then the problems occur?

Man, my memory is getting bad. Trying to do too many things at once I guess. Been really busy this week. :D
