I haven't heard anything lately. It'd be nice to never have to worry about having enough/too-much air in your tires.

But they sure are ugly! ;)

There was a post on this earlier probably about a year and half ago. They said it would be hard to put these into production because of the holes because of rocks and stuff getting inside the holes and in turn could destroy it and also of high speed. But they would be cool to see what they do with it!

Saw those on a tv show. From what I saw it was just the michelin engineers playing with new ideas. Like rumplecat said, there are a lot of limitations for everyday use. The show mentioned use in lunar vehicles and the like, but more experiment than anything.It's the tire verson of the concept car if that makes sense.

if those ever do get a serious look at production, it will be for off-road vehicles only, like bobcats and such. there are just to many ways they can get destroyed on a car, and high-speed stability is a problem.

i saw it on European TV where they were test driving it on a M3
saying it has awesome wet traction .. and is better than your conventional tire..
but what if someone cuts those tweaes off with a scissor?
