I went over to the Nissan dealership to grab some new cabin filters which ended up with the wife test driving the new Hybrid Altima. I gotta say, I have loved the Altimas' ever since the previous design came out, but what really got me on this one was the 700 miles per tank. We took it for a drive, and I was pleasantly surprised with the engine and the overall car. It drove great and had plenty of amenities. The dealer said that the battery is partially charged by the brakes which had me a little skeptical for wear and tear issues, but overall, I'm definitely gonna do some more looking into it until the apocalypse comes or the gas prices get better. lol.

I think the altima got pretty good reviews, compared to the other hybrids(saturn, camry). Can't get over that 700 miles per tank!

That is pretty cool but don't forget to mention it's a 20 gallon tank;) That's only 35mpg.
I hope I'm not coming off like I'm about to steal the jelly from your doughnut but I'm researching hybrids right now and I'm disappointed in Nissan's effort in the hybrid market.
