Gotcha, so those must be the Baja Claw in a 33X12.50-R17LT or LT325/60-R18 ????

Keala, you can fit 33x12.5-20 just fine. The 33 means it has a 33" diameter and will fit in stock height w/o a mini-lift. Since 33 is the diameter, any 33x12.5 will fit regardless of the Rim size. It looks better sitting under a mini-lift and you can fit up to 35x12.5-18 (35" dia) under a mini-lift but I think the 33's stand better. You can fit all of these on using the Stock Wheels too. The 325/60-18 that I just put on mine are about the same size as 33x12.5-18 and 33x12.5-20, I'll try to get some new pics up today and post in a new thread stating this. If you're ever considering using Mickey Thompson, you should consider stepping down to a 17" Rim for there common sizes. Maybe things have changed but anything larger than 17" used to be a special order and I don't know how it is now but it used to seem like taking forever before those Mickeys would come in after being ordered.

pops, yeah i hear what you are saying. but i'm really falling in love with those kmc rockstars. i'm leaning toward chrome. maybe i'll go with 18" kmc rockstars. i really like toyo open country mud terrains. but i actually need some advice with the offset/backspacing. i want it to actually sit just outside of the fender like ourmada808's. but if that is a problem then i guess i'll leave flush with the fender. thanks again aloha

I love those KMC's too. I just wanted to make sure that you had your info together. Rockstars with Toyo MT's look da bomb.

Here's my new set. These are the same as 33x12.5-20.

hey Keala.. well maybe we can get together one day... i know that pig farm out there... my family lives right down the same road from you on paakea... also to answer your question i the offset on my rims are 12s... i love the deep action... the KMC rocstars will not have the same effect cuz they sit on the outside of the rims....

also i would like to thank everyone else for the comps.... :D

hey Gom... i feel the same way as you and i was wanting to lower mines... but i had ran into to many probs trying to do so... so i went up... and i really love the look, feel, hieght... i like that if i need to park by the rocks and or near the sand then i can leave the parking lots and go there... heheh...

hey BlackSpyda... well i felt the same way then i seen the CD and no one here on the island has it so i wanted to be the first... i was going to bag is and put it in some shows and stuff but then i went high instead of low... and i still went with the interior.. and all the other interiors are played out..

That's always been my peave. If I cannot go where I want when I want then I start to feel trapped. I just make sure that is non-maintained property before leaving the pavement because I hate rutting out perfectly good land that someone or some city is working to maintain.

loving that setup... i am REALLY thinking about just lifting it instead of lowering it...

Pops
01-24-2008, 11:41 AM
Just keep in mind that lifting will dig into your MPG's a little and new tires will quite a bit. With just the PRG and the TerraGrapps, I'm at about 10-12 mpg right now and I'll be doing some maintenance before long to see if I can get it back up close to 14-15 again.
