Thanks Snizzle, Ill be honest, I did all my work myself. Took about 3 days to do my rims with just a few cans (Rustoleum) of auto self-etching primer for my rims (which for the most part turned out pretty well, everyone has told me it wont last with road debris, but its been on there for about 4.5 months now, so it was worth it). Bumpers & head lights I painted the same way, only took about 3-4 hrs total on those, everything turned out well except my front bumper which I scuffed a little. I bought a pint of the K11 paint & took it over to a work mates house who let me borrow his gun & sprayed my mirrors & handles myself. All together I think I spent about $100 & prob about 15-20 total. I want to repaint my bumpers the K11, I think it will give it a more fluid look, & bring it up to the more updated look of the newer models without giving up the bold look of the older ones.
Still curious, can you see a difference in light output with smoked headlights? Does 5.0 hassle you about it?
Snizzle, your truck looks good. Love the smoked headlight lenses, have you seen much of a difference in light output at night? I painted the housings black but haven't smoked them, yours look good. You gotta paint your mirrors and front handles. I have the 05 in the same smoke, Ive got the black rims & bumpers though.
