Volant Vs. Airaid

I have always used K&N in the past. However, it seems as though most have Volant or Airaid. What is everyone's thoughts on this? Thanks.

The Volant is a true CAI. I won't use a so called CAI that takes the air from under the hood as the K&N and most others do. It just doesn't make sense to me.

I am expecting my Volant any day now-will be out of town again this coming week and expected date is this Wed which sucks because i was hoping to be home when it was shipped so I didn't have to do a bunch of explaining of "what are your doing now" from my wife. I spent about three weeks reading reviewed all over the internet and different forums and i chose the Volant. Will post pics when i get it and install. AutoAnything has a price match and they had a rebate until the end of March which made the price about as good as some of the used units I have seen posted in the F/S section.

Intakes are all pretty much the same. The only difference is cosmetics. The only time the size of an intake kit really matters is if you have upgraded heads and cam or forced induction.

The new Airaid MXP 4" intake is the king of the hill now.

Plus it has the ram air scoop. It makes a difference.
