I just couldn't find the perfect mix of interior volume, luxury, power, and gas mileage in really any SUV, but the QX came the closest. I've revisted my decision, as gas prices hover around $4.00 a gallon, but I still don't know of any choices that would have given me similiar room and power, and significantly better mpg. The Mercedes GL450 and the Audi Q7 were really the only two SUV's that weren't rated in miles per tank instead of miles per gallon, but the interior space you had to give up was too much of a compromise. Maybe I should have waited until I could afford a hybrid Escalade!

Carrying a big family, 4X4 and heavy towing are my main requirements-- so I'd figure out a way to get into a newer V8 Lancruiser or a Sequoia... or possibly even try to live with a crew cab (6 passenger) fullsize truck.

I would drive that .

To be totally honest when I am not driving the Armada i am driving a Mustang GT. When i sell the armada i will be looking for something smaller because i just dont need the size anymore.

i would love to be driving a sedan like the mercedes cls55 if i didn't have any big dogs. but since i will have them for many many more years to come, i wouldn't mind having the latest gen toyota sequoia or the lexus ls570, but it is out of my price range haha.

my dream suv was always the qx56 as i had the qx4 before that. my second choice was the sequoia, but the sequoia was way way down the list compared to the qx56...
