You better post pictures! Mind if I thread jack you?
Me and wife hanger been contemplating getting a second vehicle. We're thinking about new style lifted Chevy truck either 6.2 gas or diesel, new style Toyota tundra lifted, or new xterra pro 4x.
The Chevy and tundra would be the crew cab and crew max respectively.
Thoughts? Opinions?
I've heard xterras are prone to a lot of parts failures. :/ this would be a BIG FACTOR against the xterra.

Pics will come later today it is getting delivered and HIJACK away brother not a problem.
My father-in-law had the xterra. No issues at all. Great truck. The issues are the ride is pretty rough but it is rugged. The Tundra and the Chevy will be quite a bit smoother, bigger and probably expensive. I was not a fan of the Tundra/Sequoia as I felt like they drove big. I did not like that feel. Had multiple Yukon's so I guess I am partial to the Chevy or Nissan product. I really did like the Tundra interior but my wife hated it (go figure).
I think the clincher for me would be Chevy because of the: diesel, allison tranny, truck utility, smoother ride, and I have had good luck with GM based trucks and suv's in the past. Hope that helps.

Yeah, if we go truck it'll be used. Wife really likes the new Tundras and the looks have grown on me. I really like how big they are on the inside and how the entire rear window goes down!
If it's Chevy I'm leaning diesel, but trying to find out what kind of mileage I can expect to get from it. Diesel costs more up here than regular... go figure lol.
Tundras-heard nothing but great things about how they are very low maintenance and terrific towing/hauling capabilities.
Chevy diesel- Engines will run for hundreds of thousands of miles and Allison Trannies are bulletproof.
Xterras- Wife's size and nissan. lol

Koosh, I personally kind of like the look of the tundras as well. As for the X i used to have one and only thing that went wrong was u joints at about 60k miles. I traded her for the Mada when the Fuel sending unit went and i was at about 140k miles i think. mpgs were at about 18-20.

found a 2011 xterra for 20K. its 4x4 with 33K miles on it..good deal? excessive mileage? not sure if its a PRO-4x or an S with 4x4. Im leaning with S because there isnt a PRO-4x sticker on it.
Would think it wouldn't hurt to go for less due to the mileage... granted it could be 2 calendar years old... then ~15k miles a year isn't too unreasonable.
