Just replaced mine today. It took linger to find the socket in my tool chest then to replace. Works great!

Hi Georgi,

I am having the same problem with my SUV. I would appreciate if you can tell me where's the location of the blower or where can I find it. I am not really a mecahnical savvy when it comes to car. Thanks in advance.

The resistor is under the passenger side foot well, pretty close to the firewall. It's not hard to replace, but you will need that 5.5mm nut driver.

A few months ago I bought and installed a new resistor with 3 fins. It seemed to work fine until it got too hot which caused the issue to come back. I found the resistor w/ 4 fins on ebay for about $52 shipped to my door. I'm def going to give this one a shot. Thx for the part #.

Amen to this thread and forum! I have an '08 Armada LE with dual climate control with 85,000 miles on it, the blower motor had a mind of its own, it wouldnt turn off and wouldn't adjust with climate control on. I couldn't wait so I went to the local Nissan Stealership and purchased the Variable Blower Control Module for $68 and installed it myself, took about 5 minutes.. maybe less. Works like a charm now!
