I had a left over blue LED strip from my LED swap so I decided to test the water lighting up my grill. They are not the color I wanted nor the brightest LEDs but in some angles it stands out.

Well I did the grill with two orange LEDs strips and I was not impressed so I decided to pull the plug with this mod. I'm even reevaluating the switchback turn signals I got.

was out the color that made you pull the plug? from looking at the pictures I would venture to say it would take 3-4 bright LED strips to acquire the look.

Yea I would say I was two LED strips to short but I got a feeling I wouldn't like the overall after it was all said and done.

I'd check with the laws in Texas. I lived in Dallas for 8 years and I just moved back to Oklahoma temporarily. Anything in the front or the rear that is red or blue could get you pulled over. I asked a local cop here in my town in Oklahoma about putting in LED Running lights that are blue and he said No, because it resembles a police car. Texas and Oklahoma have similar auto laws. I remember getting pulled over for having blue lights behind my grill in my Sierra in Carrollton, TX.
I know it's not much of light, but I just make sure to stay away from red and blue lighting. I'll go with green or something.
N-Fab Bumper with RIGID LED Lights. They are to bright. At night I can see at least 1000 meters in front of me. It reflects light of road signs far, far away.
About $100 a piece. Extremely rugged. Metal construction, cold light, never heats up, LED! and it is very low voltage, no battery drain if you car is not running. These are almost indestructible, look up the RIGID Industries video, it's awesome.
