Well i went and done it..2015 Pearl white 4x4 platinum

Well, we been looking at the newer SUV's on the market from Ford to Chevy to Toyota we kept coming back to the Armada Platinum version for our family.
So we nailed down a test drive this morning with our local Nissan dealer since we wanted a 4x4 they had 2 colors Barnett red and Pearl white.. The charcoal interior we loved the looks but it was hot and my wife picks up our kid from charter school every day and sometime in a long car line with suv cut off.
She fell in love with the pearl white. The rims are a little flashy for us but its a very nice suv. and what we wanted as for features. so we made a deal and traded in the loved Gun metal Grey for the pearl white, Someone will be getting a mint 2010 Titanium with 70K on it . My first taught the 2015 don't get off the line as quick and my 2010 did, although I know its new had only 8 miles on it. The transmission shifts up faster, it feels tighter more smoother , has the same basic features as the 2010 except, position memory drivers seat, folding mirrors,DVD,touch screen Nav, front and rear bumper sensors. The Bose sound better with more bass to us might be the same, steering is a lot more touchy not as stiff, has heated steering wheel, all 4 seats are heated front and second row, VDC is now traction control, XM, power rear mini windows, sun/moon roof, power rear door with key fob, seats wrap around me better.. has power lunbar. I still say my 2010 will outrun the 2015 from 0-60 with the way my 2010 set us back in the seat, But the new one feels more like a car luxury and my 2010 felt more like a truck is the only way to explain it. I just wanted to get my wife a new Suv, were both not getting any younger.. She is all giddy about this one, It will be harder to keep it clean and especially the interior. we liked the charcoal we had in the grey Titanium just felt this lighter color will be cooler.
Here are a few photos.

Oh no you didn't. Well, the deed has been done and I say congrats on the great purchase. It definitely looks great and I bet drives great too.

I hope you get to put that 4x4 to work. That looks nice. The color combo and all.

My 2009 has almost everything you just listed. I hope when Nissan changes the body style they will come up with more options. I don't know why Nissan did not give that new Armada the 360 bird's eye view.

But it looks great. Enjoy.

Looks super! I love pearl white too.

Consider a $95 Rockville 800W RW10CA 10" amplified subwoofer in place of the crap Bose sub under the driver seat.

Amazon Amazon

Installation takes an hour. You need to remove the four driver seat bolts, tilt up the driver seat, and adapt the existing sub left/right wiring, power and remote turn on leads (all the wiring is right there for you), plus strap it down. It is a very simple/quick install if you've done any stereo before.

The overall listening experience goes from "nothing much" to sensational.

2005 Armada LE 178K, Amazon Armada steering wheel control button covers, emblem wrap for the hamburger, rear cats deleted and replaced with 2 x Vibrant 1792 resonators, Magnaflow 22", stock pipes, dual tips, K&N drop-in, Taylor Throttle Body Spacer, Spyder Chrome Altezza headlight projectors with 6000K 75W HIDs, Altezza Chrome tail lights, 6000K 55W HID projector fogs, LEDs all around, 10" 800W RW10CA sub, 400W rear amp + Bose 161s in back.

Congrats! I'm sure most of the differences have to do with with a truck with 8 miles compared to 70K

Congrats!! Funny you should say the new truck doesn't feel as fast as your old one. I had the same comment when we traded the 06 for the 12. My 06 felt like a mini NASCAR truck, had a much more pronounced roar, and definitely felt quicker off the line. I also noticed that the transmission wants to shift up much earlier on the new truck compared to the old one.

I didn't take pics with the seat out, but this is all you need to know - super easy:

  • Disconnect the Battery. The Red Fat wire, listed below, stays energized even with the key off.
  • Take the four driver seat bolts out and lean the seat out of the way, you don't need to disconnect the seat electronics.
  • Pull the wire harness connector out of the Bose subwoofer.
  • Take the flimsy POS Bose unit out by removing the 3 hold down screws and shoot it.
  • Put the 10" sub in place. There is a heater outlet in the middle of the floor underneath, so you'll need to mount the subwoofer up on four rubber block pencil erasers, or something similar to straddle the heater vent.
  • Strap the 10" sub box down. I cut two nylon straps and put screws through the ends, using the 3 original mounting screws and locations. The second strap loops around and tightens the first strap. See photo.
  • Snip the bose wire harness connector off.
  • Wire it up and you're done! See below.

Sub Power:
RED Fat - Power (to POWER screw terminal on subwoofer)
Black Fat - Ground (to GND screw terminal on subwoofer)
White/Green - Remote power (to REMOTE screw terminal on subwoofer) This wire signals the the sub to turn on/off when the ignition is turned on/off. Test this wire to make sure you have the right one in case some Nissans are different. It should have 0V when the truck is off and 12V to 14V when the truck is on.

Speaker output:
White - Left/Right mono channel output, to the center post of a male RC jack
Black Thin - Left/Right mono channel output, to outer ring of the same male RCA jack
Now plug your RCA jack into an RCA Y-splitter so you can plug it into both the left and right channel of the subwoofer (the sub channel is mono) otherwise you'll only get at half the available power output

The Bose amp only sends the low subwoofer frequencies to these speaker wires. Set the subwoofer's switch to accept a low frequency input, not a full range input. That way it doesn't filter the input any more. The front/rear fader and left/right balance have no affect on the output level of the speaker wires. It is a mono sub channel already. I highly recommend using the included remote subwoofer volume control knob by attaching the included phone cord and tucking it under the plastic door runner and up under the dash. This gives you real time control of the sub output which can go from subtle, to making your rear view mirrors unusable. Disregard the wires in my photos coming in from the right (center console) those are for other stuff on my truck. You only need 5 wires from the Bose connector.

I got to say this Pearl white and the Chrome is growing on me, Its a nice looking rig. I got a chance to snap a few photos. These photos don't do the Pearl Platinum justice..It pops with Beauty..

The 2015 Armada is my wifes, the 2001 F150 Lariat is mine. Included this photo for a comparison, shows how huge and beefy the Armada looks compared to my 4x4 on 35" and 5" lift. the hitch is only 2: lower than on the F150..
