Hi, I purchased an 04 w 107k on it in feb. When I purchased it I also purchased a diamond warranty 6y/60km, w 100$ dec. When I drove off the lot the back pass door lock quit working.. Then about a month later the ele seats, and memory settings,lift gate, lift window, cruise, and tonight my low beams quit working as I was leaving church. When I mess w the ac controllers it sometimes makes a noise like its stuck on something also. Could this all be the bcm? If so where's a place near Greenville tx to go to get it fixed that accepts the warranty if the warranty will fix it lol... Also I've heard you have to take this vehicle in for oil changes/ fluid changes/ tune ups(spark plugs ect) is this true or can any mechanic that's trust worthy do it?
I also purchased an aftermarket warranty similar to this through auto assure. I was very thorough in my questioning prior to purchase in determining whether or not what would constitute as performing routine maintenance as i always do my own unless its out of my league. I did ascertain through talking with a competent sales person that as long as you document maintenance through receipts, etc, that it would suffice to satisfy this requirement. The clicking and strange noises you are hearing when making adjustments to the heating and cooling system are normal problems that many owners have experienced already and have had much discussion on this forum. Apparently it is the result of cheap components used in the system and inferior design by the engineers of nissan/infinity products. Advice on finding a shop that will accept your warranty provider would be to check with the provider either online or over the phone. They should be able to point you in the right direction as that is the mission of their service. Be sure to read your manual and contract information for more insight as to what may or may not be covered. Hope this helps and good luck my freind.
Hi Jack, my email was sending all messages to spam ?? didnt know you had written. sorry. thanks for your reply. i unfortunately cant get any one to contact me back at the warranty place and my car dealer didnt give me any info other than a booklet that gave me the number to the warranty place :/ the warranty place did send me a paper telling me thanks for signing up and they were happy to have my business looks like that was a lie! i have a cousin that is ase certified and im hoping he can fix my issues as new ones have come up.
