just finished the install.
this is right after install. front was raised 3/8", rear was raised 1.5" (with a Daystar 1" spacer).
now the car has a 1" rake (rear higher by 1"), before install it had a 1/2" reverse rake. hopefully car will settle after a week or two.
front install was super easy. rear shock was easy, spring spacer was a bit tricky. Googled for instruction, didn't see any good tutorial. Daystar instruction was way too complicated, involving removing rear ball joint (this was a *****), rear sway bar end link, parking brake bolt........... ended up removing just 1 bolt (control arm that holds the spring. bottom outer bolt), but to install the spacer, you have to have spring compressor (which was tricky because of space involved).
as it sits right now:
rear shock length is at 16.5"
Bilstein 24-187077 is 13.6" compressed, 21.6 extended.
according to Bulkhead's post:
Rear suspension dimension between shock mounts at:
Full droop: 19.25"
Full compression (eyeballed): 13.4"
that would mean I have ~2.75" (19.25" - 16.5")of droop and ~2.9" (16.5" - 13.6") of compression travel. does that sound right ?
