Subs for under the front seats

Ok... I am going to try and drop two 10" subs under the front seats. It has taken a while, but here is a list of subs I found with shallow mounting depths.

If ANYBODY is in Iowa, Elemental Designs will build a box and sell it... They just need an Armada to build the mold from. :-)

I have heard the Pioneer one is pretty much crap and that the others are supposed to be pretty good.

Here is the list I had from my recent searches...

Critical Mass - http://www.criticalmassaudio.com/perfsubs.html

Earthquake SWS - http://www.earthquakesound.com/sws.htm

Elemental Designs SQ10 Subwoofer - http://www.edesignaudio.com/edv2/pro...roducts_id=106

Exile Xtec 10 - http://www.exilecaraudio.com/exile/c...c10_Manual.pdf

JL's New One - http://www.audiogroupforum.com/csfor...ighlight=CEDIA

Phase Evolution - http://www.phase-evolution.de/produk...erie&l ang=EN

Pioneer TS-SW2541D - http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pn...564759,00.html

No Name - www.tb-speaker.com/detail/1208_03/wt-1427b.htm (working on getting one or two from Parts Express...)

I have the pioneer, it is just real picky about the box it is in, and they need huge amounts of power.

when set up correctly they sound nice.

Use the JL. They consistently have superior quality subs.

Yeah, but still VaporWare. They don't release products until they are DONE. It may be two years before they actually ship... (Case in point, their home sub...)

ed forum

The elemental designs forums are pretty informative and everyone there seems to be amazed with their shallow mount sub.
