The headlights. I have seen many of the Infiniti's with factory LED headlights. I'm guessing they are the ones a year or two before they made the QX80. These have tons of interchangeable parts, so it doesn't seem like they'd go out of the way to change the headlight assembly and housing.....
they should bolt on yes. but you will need to splice some wires as there are leds in there (daytime running leds).
I REALLLLLLLLLY wanna do this on my 2012 but i cant justify the price for the parts and then finding someone in LA to do it, because I cant. im not handy...
Besides needing to doing the wiring / ballasts, if you're talking about mounting the whole headlamp housing, I am certain that while they >>MIGHT<< bolt right on, you'd need to do some metal fab too or replace the front fenders, hood, grille, and probably the front bumper too.
Look at the bit that I highlighted in yellow on the white QX below and compare that to the Armada....
Not the answer you were hoping for (or any of us), but I hope this helps anyway.
Thanks for the information guys!! I just got a '15 last year and then the new ones came out. The QX lights are cheaper than upgrading Mada's:joy::joy::joy::joy:
Whether its the 04-11 QX56 or 12-17 QX56/80 headlights, your '15 Armada is going to need extensive front end body work to have the headlights "bolt" right on. I'm pretty sure you'd be the first one to do such a conversion if you decide to go forward with the project.
