Armada wandering all over the road

Hey folks - need some advice.

I have a 2013 Armada (58k miles) that is stock with the exception of Bilstein HD front shocks. The issue is, the car wanders all over the road... feels like I am driving in a high cross-wind that changes directions the entire time I'm driving. Further info:

- noticed this about 3 months ago and wrote it off as bad tires (Michelin Tour HPs that were down to 3/32 and were crap)
- just installed new Yokohama Geolanders and the problem is better, but still there

I haven't had the front end aligned, but the tires I just took off the truck were not worn in any way to indicate an alignment or caster/camber problem. They were worn evenly.

I live in WV and drive tight and windy roads with plenty of elevation change on a daily basis. Hell on tires and brakes... could there be other things that are simply worn out?

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Scot

Have you looked at your sway bar bushings and end links? That could be the culprit.

Do a four wheel alignment. Bad alignment on the rear can cause stability problems with our trucks.....one of the bad things of having an independent rear suspension versus a straight axle.

+1 on the alignment.

I was blown away by what a difference it made on my truck.

Could bad shocks in the rear be an issue? I think this might be my issue but I have 125k on the odo. I have bilsteins in the frint but neber changed the rear and I have the leveling suspension because of the tow package. For me the rear seems to be feeling the roads bumps alot more. Reason why I think it may be the shocks but then Ive also havent had a 4 wheel alignment done in a couple years.
