H2 Vs Armada offroad?

I've read several post on here and various titan forums saying that the h2 is just a tahoe underneath and it sucks offroad. i was wondering how it compares to our cars. i know its on a tahoe platform, weighs a bunch, and is huge. but it does have a locker n bfg's all around.

Well, Hummer as brand is very off-road oriented. But the Armada shares its platform with the Xterra and Pathfinder, two of the most repectable off-roading SUVs. It a close call.

No, the Armada shares platform with the Titan. Pathy and Xterra are two different, separate platforms.

I like my Armada, but the H2 would eat an Armada for lunch on the trail with its rear locker.

As much as dislike the H2 i have heard many great things about their offroad capability and believe they can outperform the Mada in overall offroad performance. But i do not know of any side by side camparison. I would love to see the mada kick the H2's butt. If you check out this video at about 1min 15 or so.

But check out the nissan on this vid at about 5 min and the hummer breaking at 5 min and 30 sec.

This is an old vid just for people who want to know if a nissan can handle a little offroad action.

And one more this one show an mada at the begining and an H2 at the end along with pathy. Hope it was not posted before

I don't think that there is a vehicle out there (stock) that can beat a stock H1. or my work vehicle.

well other than a tank.

And there won't be for awhile either. The H1's offroad ability and equipment versatility is a very tall standard to reach.

I beg to differ. The Armada and QX are on the F-Alpha platform which underpins all of Nissans SUVs EXCEPT the Murano and FX. There are two differnt VARIENTS of it but it is the same general platform. They also all have some form of Nissan's VK OR VQ-series engine.

Hummer discontinued the H1...thank god! All we need is more SUVs of that size on the road and struggling to get 8 mpg on the highway. Now that was a step in the right direction for GM. Plus it cost $130 and the interior was about as refined as a 1995 Hyundai Accent.

You are correct it was discontinued but there is still no stock vehicle that can beat it in raw off road capability and power (IMO) The one thing I am unsure of is the H1 Gas or diesel. Because a military Hummer gets about 200+ miles and only takes about 16 gals of diesel thats about 12.5 mpg. (never ran tank to empty or below 1/4 tank) on a vehicle that get the worst services done on it. Military Mechanics are not top of the line. Just about the same as the Mada. but the difference is was all on dirt trails hills and sand for my mil spec hummer.
