New 2013 Platinum Owner

My Armada didn't come with the original headphones or remote for the rear entertainment system. The dealership ordered new pieces from Nissan and they were shipped to my house. The remote does nothing, does it have to be programmed? Also the headphones do not pick up any sound from monitor B. Is it possible it isn't transmitting or is there a setting I don't know about? Thanks

As you already stated your remote needs to be set,as well as the headset the setting is done through your radio panel ,had set my headsets a while back, cant remember step by step instructions but it should be on your manual perhaps another member will assist you further. Enjoy.

headsets are IR so make sure they are in line of sight with the X-mitter.

also look for a switch on the headphones and/or remote. there may be a switch/setting that selects which headsets play with each screen (I assume you have two screens in the headrests?)

Thanks, I do have the screens on the headrest. There is no switch on the headphones. Both headphones work on the drivers side screen but neither on the passenger side. I will look into the settings on the radio panel I didn't see anywhere where this was covered in the owner's manual.

On the new qx the headsets (or remote. I need to go and check) slow you to set the headphones to ONLY listen to one screen or the other. It sounds like a setting is activated to make both headsets only hear one screen and not the other.

I bought aftermarket IR headphones and they have an A/B switch. The remote should just be IR, so not sure why it would have to be programmed, but I would take it back to the dealer to find out why it doesn't work.
