Same roof rack on Armada and QX56?

I'd love to be able to put my bikes on the roof rack, but as we all know the rails are too far apart on the base rack. I saw a QX56 today in the parking garage that had a long, one piece roof rail that would better accomodate roof racks. Is this a QX56 specific rack, or could I get something like this for my Armada?

FWIW, I use a hitch carrier for my bikes, much easier than messing with a roof rack and having them exposed to onward winds and crud.

I have a discontinued Yakima. The important thing is to find one that's padded well and can secure your bikes well enough that they don't get scratched or marked up.

This looks like a good one:

Thanks for the info. I am picking up a hitch bike rack this week. I just realized that my Yakima Cargo box won't fit up top either. Does anyone know if the 2008+ roof racks will fit a 2005 rack? I took the rack off my '05 to see if I could rig something together for my Yakima rack but doesn't look likely.

Thanks
