2008 Nissan Armada interior roof consoles cracked and hanging.
Anyone have this issue with the front and rear overhead consoles cracking around the mounting screws. Dealership offered to pay for 50 percent of the overall cost which adds up to 600 bucks out of pocket. I don't see why I would have to pay for that when it clearly appears to be cheap plastic that was used. Nissan also advised me that they would not be able to simply sell me the empty shell for the front and rear. SUCKS!!!!
My '08 has the same exact problems. The mounting holes under the sunglass holder cracked making the overhead compartment just hang. Just last week the large rectangtular compartment above the rear seats just cracked and fell to the floor.
To say I'm dissappointed with the quality of materials (plastic, metal, paint, rubber) used for this vehicle would be a huge understatment. It makes me miss my '97 4Runner.....

I will try and upload a few picks of the front and rear consoles. I contacted Charlie Clark Nissan to try and find out if they would just sell me the main shell for both the rear and front but no luck. Apparently Nissan will sell you each and every other component attached to it but not the main shell. That sucks!! Still hoping that the letter I sent Nissan will be able to help with Good Will. Fingers crossed!!
Pic of the interior front roof console. Frame of housing is cracked on both sides. As you can see I had to use velcro strips just to keep that front panel with the rear a/c control and sunroof switch attached to this housing.
Pic of the rear overhead console with crack. The rear overhead console started sagging from the headliner a little further back from where the crack is. You can easily check yours for any issues by opening the back large compartment, taking a flashlight and look to see if any cracks are around the two rear screws. Same with the front sunglass compartment. Flip down the sunglass holder and look up at the plastic around the screws. Let me know if anyone else has some issues in this area. Thanks!
