Interior light upgrade (ebay)

I had a license plate bulb go out and I went to buy a replacement which was 6 dollars for 2 bulbs. Then I thought I might as well see what kind of deals I could get on ebay (I know). This is what I found. http://www.ebay.com/itm/10-x-T10-194...#ht_481wt_1185 and http://www.ebay.com/itm/160862314791...ht_4023wt_1166. I didn't do the smart thing and order both 194 bulbs(dome/step/licence) and 3175 bulbs(map light) from the same seller. So the maps lights look like 6000k and the domes/licence/step lights look like 5000k but oh well.

What you need to light the whole interior:
10x 194 bulbs (12x if you have lights under side mirrors)
3x DE3175 bulbs

Here are some pics.

...while I was at it I took a pic of the snap buttons I sewed on to help the 3rd row flaps from falling.

Also I am working on my soldering skills so I could swap the leds in my gauge cluster.

Awesome. hahahaha.. u can't complain about not being able to read now. But man it will be hard to speed at night with such a bright license light.

I purchased two packs of 4 "sew on' snap buttons, thread and a curved needle from the craft store. I dont know squat about sewing but I found a video on Youtube on the technique for snaps and it help a bunch. After the first 4 on the first flap I was a pro and flew threw the rest of the 8. There are different sizes small to large...I got the medium. They work great but I am a little dissapointed in my color selection for thread but you cant see them anyway .

map/trunk light = 3175 bulb
dome/door/license = 194 bulb

check this out for bulb reference:
http://www.clubarmada.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15342

also there are many mini bulbs that can be use in place of other mini bulb applications for example the licence bulb says 168 bulb but the 194 bulbs fit and operate well in it.

here is a bulb cross reference chart, look at the WLED section:
http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-b...bulb_cross.htm
